About the event

The Chiang Mai event showcased our findings as well as our visual participatory methods, with a particular focus on the artwork created by participants. Panel discussions were held in the exhibition space, surrounded by this powerful and expressive work. The event was held on Saturday, 12 July 2025 at the Chiang Mai University Art Centre.

• Charlie Hill (Assistant Professor in Media Arts and Design, Chiang Mai University)

• Mirca Madianou (Professor in the Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London)

• Hayso Thako (Post-doctoral researcher, Chiang Mai University) - with a response by Jiraporn Laocharoenwong (Assistant Professor at the Department of Anthropology, Chulalongkorn University)
