Excerpt from artist's narrative account

Because of the situation, all the young people have left their homes to stay in  places that are safe for them. The Burmese military burned down houses and  schools. So, I pray for peace in Myanmar. Now, there are no more young  people left in the village; they have all fled. Before, the military used to capture  young people on the road, but now they come directly into our homes to take  them and force them to become soldiers.
